The Supreme Court And Natural Law

Guest Post by James Miller of the Ludwig von Mises Institute of Canada

A few weeks ago I wagered with a coworker that the United States Supreme Court would uphold the Affordable Care Act otherwise known as Obamacare.  He reasoned that the federal government has no authority under the Constitution to force an individual to purchase a product from a private company.  My reasoning was much simpler.  Because the Supreme Court is a functioning arm of the state, it will do nothing to stunt Leviathan’s growth.  The fact that the Court declared no federal law unconstitutional from 1937 to 1995—from the tail end of the New Deal through Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society—should have been proof enough.  He naively believed in the impartialness of politically-appointed judges.  For the first time he saw that those nine individuals are nothing more than politicians with an allegiance to state supremacy.
It was a tough but valuable lesson to learn.
As far as unintended effects are concerned, the economic justification for increased government regulation of the health care industry has been argued countless times up to this point.  Proponents of intervention are convinced that more bureaucracies, red tape, and central planning are the answer.  They have no knowledge of the pricing system and how it functions as the most efficient means through which consumers and producers can interact to come to an agreeable deal.  They don’t realize that the undersupply of doctors and care providers is a direct consequence of previous government intervention and occupational licensing.  Many actually believe that Obamacare wasn’t written by the insurance industry and isn’t a fascist-like appeasement of another deep pocketed lobbying campaign.
Common sense economics tells us that Obamacare will only lead to further inefficiencies and rationing as decisions of care continue to be made by third parties.  Once fully enacted, doctor offices will likely start resembling that of the waiting area of your local Department of Motor Vehicles.
All that aside, the Supreme Court’s upholding of the Affordable Care Act should serve as an eye opener to those who still believe the state exists as a protector of property and defender of the rule of law.
In the present day, the vast number of edicts coming from Washington can hardly be characterized as laws.  “But wait,” you may ask, “when legislation is passed by Congress, signed by the President, and ultimately approved by the Supreme Court, isn’t it now considered the law of the land?”  While it is certainly true that whatever scheme envisioned by the political class can be enforced by the state’s monopoly on violence, such rules of governance are more often than not laws in the traditional sense.
Historically, what was known as private or natural law rested upon the rational deduction of a set of ethically-based norms.  These norms focused on acts considered morally wrong such as assault, murder, rape, and violations of property in general.  Such aggressions were seen by classical liberal thinkers as detrimental to social cooperation.  According to 20th century legal scholar Edwin Patterson, the concept of natural law evolved from
Principles of human conduct that are discoverable by “reason” from the basic inclinations of human nature, and that are absolute, immutable and of universal validity for all times and places. This is the basic conception of scholastic natural law . . . and most natural law philosophers.
Or as Murray Rothbard wrote in his book The Ethics of Liberty:
The natural law is, in essence, a profoundly “radical” ethic, for it holds the existing status quo, which might grossly violate natural law, up to the unsparing and unyielding light of reason. In the realm of politics or State action, the natural law presents man with a set of norms which may well be radically critical of existing positive law imposed by the State.
Positive law is the kind enacted by the state that bestows special privileges to specific individuals.  Whereas natural law is essentially negative in that it disallows for the violent treatment of others, state-sanctioned positive law is the granting of reward that is necessarily provided by confiscatory taxation or government coercion.
What the state, which is institutionalized predation and force, embodies is antithetical to natural law and the very belief that violence is morally repugnant.  To characterize the Supreme Court as some great upholder of the rule of law in spite of it being a pillar in the state apparatus is insulting to any decent person that has a basic understanding of justice.
In lieu of the upholding of the Affordable Care Act, it’s now worth asking what the U.S. government can’t do to Americans.  As of right now, a sitting president can call for the indefinite detainment and execution of both citizens and non citizens alike with no due process.  The band of thieves known as Congress can force the public to purchase a good or service and order its goons to read private communications without prior consent or knowledge.  The dollar is constantly inflated to the benefit of major financial institutions, thus destroying the purchasing power of the money Americans are forced into using.  The American people are no longer afforded their rights to their property, privacy, or own lives.  Those discretions are currently in the hands of the various marionettes of Washington.  Whether it is occupied by outright fascists or closet socialists, the state has no regard for liberty in its incremental quest for omnipotence.
As Ludwig von Mises spent his life expounding:
A society that chooses between capitalism and socialism does not choose between two social systems; it chooses between social cooperation and the disintegration of society. Socialism is not an alternative to capitalism; it is an alternative to any system under which men can live as human beings.
In the world of centralized or constitutional government, rules are always made to be broken.  The irony in today’s Supreme Court decision is that it was never given the authority to strike down federal laws under the Constitution.  The power of “judicial review” was established by precedent in Marbury v. Madison, 5 U.S. 137 (1803) and was not explicitly granted in the language of the Constitution.  As Lew Rockwell puts it, judicial review is a
Usurped power not present in the constitution. The anti-federalists had anticipated it, however, seeing it as just another of the viciously increased federal powers to be enabled by the new constitution as versus the far more libertarian Articles, which had been overthrown in the federalist coup at Philadelphia.
Many legal scholars argue that judicial review is an implied power.  If that were so, their logic can be applied to each and every blatantly unconstitutional law enforced by the federal government.  And as history has shown, this is precisely what has occurred as the Constitution’s purposefully vague language has been the cornerstone for growing Washington’s dominance over every aspect of civil society.
The upholding of Obamacare is just more evidence of the totalitarian jackboot that continues to be pressed down upon on America’s collective throat.  Instead of Congress or the President, it was the Supreme Court’s turn to pave the way toward serfdom.  In a truly free society, all forms of violence would be condemnable and worthy of legal recourse.  Men with badges and guns would receive no special treatment such as they do today.  Thieves would be thieves.  Murders would be murders.  Counterfeiters would be counterfeiters.  And mobsters would be mobsters.  Titles such as “President,” “Congressman,” “police officer,” or “central banker” would mean nothing under a functioning system of proper law.
To those who may object to natural or proper law, it may be asked “would you not defend your life or the lives of your loved ones against potential aggressors?”  For those who answer in the affirmative, they have rationally assumed their property is theirs to protect and their life and the lives of the innocent can be defended from coercion.  The only other option would be for a society where no property, including one’s own body, is to be justifiably owned.  The widespread practice of the latter tends to be enforced through brutal totalitarianism.  The former is the foundation for peace, justice, and prosperity.

Americans Are Being Prepared For Full Spectrum Tyranny

Guest Post by Brandon Smith from Alt-Market

Totalitarian governments, like persistent forms of cancer, have latched onto the long history of man, falling and then reemerging from the deep recesses of our cultural biology to wreak havoc upon one unlucky generation to the next.  The assumption by most is that these unfortunate empires are the product of bureaucracies gone awry; overtaken by the chaotic maddening hunger for wealth and power, and usually manipulated by the singular ambitions of a mesmerizing dictator.  For those of us in the Liberty Movement who are actually educated on the less acknowledged details of history, oligarchy and globalized centralism is much less random than this, and a far more deliberate and devious process than the general unaware public is willing consider.
Unfortunately, the final truth is very complex, even for us…
One cannot place the blame of despotism entirely on the shoulders of globalists.  Sadly, the crimes of elites are only possible with a certain amount of complicity from subsections of the populace.  Without our penchant for apathy and fear, there can be no control.  That is to say, there is no power over us but that which we give away.  We pave the road to our own catastrophes.
In the end, a tyrant’s primary job is not to crush the masses and rule out of malevolence, but to obtain the voluntary consent of the citizenry, usually through trickery and deceit.  Without the permission of the people, subconscious or otherwise, no tyranny can survive.
As with the oppressive regimes of the past, America has undergone a dramatic transformation, heavy with fear and ignorance.  Our tradition of elections has been corrupted and negated by the false left/right paradigm, and the leaderships of both defunct parties now seek only to elevate a select minority of men bent on globalization.  Our Constitutional liberties have been dismantled by legal chicanery.  Our principles have been diluted by intellectual games of rationalism and moral relativism.  Our country is ripe for conquest.
Americans battle over whose side is most to blame; Democrat or Republican, while ironically being disenchanted with both entities.  For some people, the thought of holding each party equally accountable, or accepting that they are essentially the same animal, never crosses their minds.
While this irrelevant farce of a debate rages on, the true culprits plotting the demise of our Republic gain momentum, and implement policy initiatives that the public should and must take note of.  In the past year alone, many blatant steps towards the Orwellian gulag have been openly administered.  A carnival of peddlers and freaks and greasy popcorn overwhelms our senses, but the stench of this cheap circus still tickles our noses, and if we use our eyes for even a moment, certain dangerous trends reveal themselves.  Here are just a few recent events that bear a dire warning; the ultimate assault on freedom in this nation grows near…

Acclimation To Subservience

Every totalitarian state worth its salt has its own goon squad.  The Nazi’s had the “Brownshirts”, the Soviets had the “Militsiya” and the “Voluntary People’s Brigade”, the Communist Chinese have the “Chengguan”, etc.  In America, however, all tyrannical measures are given innocuous bureaucratic labels to mislead and distract the masses.  In this country, we have the Transportation Security Administration…
The TSA has become the most hated alphabet agency in the U.S. in perhaps the fastest time on record.  It has violated the personal rights of more people on a daily basis in my view than the IRS, DEA, and the ATF combined.  Clearly, this slobbering demon child of the Department of Homeland Security is being molded for something quite terrible and grand.
When confronted by the public on the use of irradiating and intrusive naked body scanner technology, the agency responded by allowing their blue handed ghoul army with to molest our nether-regions.  When confronted by state and local governments on their absurd tactics, the TSA threatened economic blockades and airport shutdowns.  The organization then began expanding its jurisdiction to bus and train stations and even our highways when it introduced the VIPR program and implemented random roadside checkpoints in Tennessee last year.  But, this behavior is nothing compared to what is next on the horizon: a compromise…
Beware of government agencies bearing gifts.  The TSA along with the International Air Transport Association has announced a new methodology of “less intrusive” passenger screening measures, in order to address the concerns of the public over pat downs and irradiating naked body scanners.  This SOUNDS like a step in the right direction, and a proper response to the grievances of the citizenry.  Instead, it turns out to be a refined example of totalitarianism in motion, and a perfect lesson in how the masses can be duped into handing over their inherent freedoms.
Revamped security protocols call for biometric data collection, including fingerprint and retina scans, and a tunnel which combines multiple detection systems into one area (who knows how radioactive this will end up being):
http://travel.usatoday.com/flights/story/2012-06-19/Faster-better-airport-security-checkpoints-not-that-far-off/55693916/1
The mainstream article above makes this development sound like a win/win scenario for everyone, painting biometric data collection as a matter of convenience, but it also reveals the true design of the system; to illicit voluntary subservience:
“The key to speeding up checkpoints and making security less intrusive will be to identify and assess travelers according to the risks they pose to safety in the skies. The so-called riskiest or unknown passengers would face the toughest scrutiny, including questioning and more sensitive electronic screening. Those who voluntarily provide more information about themselves to the government would be rewarded with faster passage…”
They enforce destructive anti-personal rights policies then pretend to acquiesce by replacing them with a technocratic nightmare grid which requires the cataloging of our very genetic essence in order to function.  The only remaining injustice left would be to apply this grid to the rest of the country outside of the airports and train stations, which I assure you, they plan to do.

Militarization

Last week, I covered the disturbing use of armored vehicles (APC’s or urban tanks) in open training regiments on the streets of St. Louis by the U.S Army, despite the fact that all of their exercises could have easily been accomplished on any number of military bases across the country.  The action is an obvious attempt to condition the American populace to the sight of military units operating in a policing capacity:
http://www.alt-market.com/articles/866-military-tanks-on-st-louis-streetsbut-why
I received multiple letters from current serving military who stated that in all their years in the armed forces they had never seen such a brash mishandling of public relations or an overstepping of bounds when it came to the restrictions of Posse Comitatus.  It was encouraging to hear from military men and women who did not agree with or condone this kind of psyop activity on the part of our government.
Though the St. Louis event is not isolated, I believe it does represent an escalation.
Remember the controversy over the Mayor of Toledo and his refusal to allow 200 Marines to conduct urban combat drills on the public streets of his city in 2008?  The media clamored to crucify this public official; one of the few who had any sense whatsoever in his head:
http://voices.yahoo.com/toledo-mayor-faces-backlash-ousting-marines-896105.html
Or the tactical exercises using helicopters and combat troops over LA and Chicago early this year?
http://www.lapdonline.org/newsroom/news_view/50045
http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2012/04/17/city-black-hawk-helicopter-flights-were-just-a-training-exercise/
During each one of these events, city officials and local media attempted to inoculate the public with claims that they were “simply exercises”.  This argument misses the point entirely.  Whether or not these are “exercises” is not the issue.  The issue is that this training could be done ON BASE.  Using public streets and running drills within cities is absolutely unnecessary given the vast resources already available to the military, unless, of course, the goal is to BE SEEN by the public and to influence them to view the sight of armed troops around them as “normal”.
Add to this the fact that many of these military training exercises are being conducted in tandem with local police department, and you have a recipe for the utter militarization of our society, turning peace officers into combat soldiers, and combat soldiers into law enforcement mechanisms; a juxtaposition that will soon lead to unmitigated disaster.
Arms Race Against the People?
When a country is quietly preparing for war, the first signs are usually revealed by a disclosure of armaments.  If stockpiling is taking place without a warranted threat present from a legitimate enemy, there is a considerable likelihood of aggression on the part of that nation.  America has gone well beyond the psychological process of militarization and has begun the extensive arming of particular agencies whose primary purpose revolves around the domestic.
The DHS, for instance, placed an order for over 450 million rounds of hollowpoint .40 cal ammunition in April of this year:
http://rt.com/usa/news/dhs-million-point-government-179/
And it placed an order for over 7000 new semi-automatic combat rifles chambered in .223 (5.56 by 45mm NATO) immediately after:
https://www.fbo.gov/index?s=opportunity&mode=form&id=d791b6aa0fd9d3d8833b2efa08300033&tab=core&tabmode=list&=
While local police through federal programs (like the 1033 Program) are being given millions of dollars in free military equipment, including body armor, night vision equipment, APC's, aircraft, first aid supplies, weapons, surveillance equipment, Kevlar helmets, gas masks and filters, vehicles, etc.:
http://www.ogs.state.sc.us/surplus/SP-1033-index.phtm
http://www.wired.com/dangerroom/2012/06/cops-military-gear/all/
All of this equipment, though issued to state agencies, is still heavily tracked and regulated by the federal government, making it clear that these “gifts” come with strings attached:
http://www.newsherald.com/articles/program-103291-state-law.html
And finally, new FAA regulations will soon allow the dispersion of tens of thousands of predator drones with armament capability in the skies of the U.S. over the course of the next few years:

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/feb/7/coming-to-a-sky-near-you/

http://articles.latimes.com/2011/dec/10/nation/la-na-drone-arrest-20111211
Now, anyone with any logic would ask who it is that the government is arming itself and local police to fight against?  Al Qaeda?  Let’s not be naïve…
The passage of the NDAA and its provisions for the indefinite detainment of ANY person, even an American citizen, under the laws of war has ended the debate over government intent in terms of domestic action.  FBI Director Robert Mueller’s admission that he “did not know” if assassination programs would be used against American citizens also heaped evidence on the matter.  The bottom line?  Our government wishes to label and treat citizens as enemy combatants.  Of course they would then organize armaments to follow through on their policy.

Pulling The Trigger

All despotic systems have another distinct similarity; they each began with a series of trigger events which opened the door to tighter controls over the population.  The most immediate trigger event for the U.S. is the looming peril of a collapsing economy followed by inevitable civil unrest.  With the EU currently in debt shambles, global markets are on the verge of a considerable breakdown.  The Federal Reserve response will be predictable; QE3 and massive stimulus all around to mitigate the crisis.  This time, though, the go-to Keynesian quick fix will not work in the slightest.  In fact, it will make matters more untenable by placing the world reserve status of the dollar at risk.
Everything that has happened so far in the markets this year has been easy to foresee.  Alt-Market predicted the economic slowdown around the world and the collapse of overall demand using the Baltic Dry Index as a gauge back in January:
http://www.alt-market.com/articles/540-baltic-dry-index-signals-renewed-market-collapse
We also predicted the accelerated turmoil in the EU in light of the recent election results in France and Greece:
http://www.alt-market.com/articles/765-economic-alert-if-youre-not-worried-yetyou-should-be
If alternative economic analysts can predict these developments despite the manipulated statistics spewed out by the government every month, then I think the government and our central bank has a tremendously transparent view of what is coming down the road in terms of financial distress.  I believe the establishment is very well aware of a potential crisis event, economic or otherwise, that is barreling down upon the U.S.  I believe the evidence shows that they are preparing for this eventuality in a command and control fashion, without alerting the public to the coming implosion.  I believe they will use the despair that flows forth from the fiscal wreckage as an excuse to institute martial law.
Call it "crazy".  Call it “conspiracy theory”.  Call it “coincidence”.  Call it "fear mongering".  Whatever you like.  I find it far more insane to shrug off the strange and twisted behavior of our power structure, and simply hope that it’s all irrelevant to the future.  Whenever I run into starry eyed historical romanticists who look back in astonishment at the tyrannies of the past and wonder out loud, “How could those people have not known where their country was headed?!!”, I think of where we are today…

Economic Implosion Of The USA : Hyperinflation, Deflation And Currency Wars

 Guest Post by V

As I write this to you we are circling a deflationary drain that has put the squeeze into aggregate demand levels (total demand for goods and services) and driven down the aggregate asset prices (real estate) So in order to keep the USS Titanic of sinking any further the privately owned and unconstitutional Federal Reserve has turned on the magic printing press in the hopes of “stimulating” and propping up assets by Quantitative Easing ( AKA “QE” which is a fancy way of saying printing money out of thin air.)

Helicopter Ben Bernanke (Look up why they call him “helicopter Ben” in order to appreciate the humor.) and the Reserve gum shoes are terrified of the US economic death spiral that has begun. Lack of liquidity, leading to lower consumption, leading to lower prices, leading to the whole economy grinding to a halt! So to prevent this the Fed has gone on a buying spree if you will, propping up one floundering asset after the next , buoying asset prices to prevent a deflationary dive, and injecting liquidity into the system to keep the magicians parlor tricks going. I would always say “when your only tool is a hammer, every problem becomes a nail.”

Think about it, over the last few months the Fed has bought over $2.3 Trillion of US treasuries, it has injected more and more “stimulus” but still we can not overcome this credit contraction. This is what happens when a nation demonizes it's labor force by outsourcing, swallows the Bovine Excrement of “Consumer Economy” and relegates its once manufacturing might as something that is old hat and primitive. In other words the Globalist and Multinational Banks and Corporations have sold us a bad bag of goods via our “elected” leaders.
This brings us to HYPERINFLATION.

Now the economically aloof will say that it is a far off prospect, a better chance  that the polar ice caps will melt in a “global cooling event”. I mean what most people would say is that with wages being driven down the way that they are, asset prices more or less stable, and credit market shrinking, hyperinflation sounds like some far off pipe dream of sycophantic doomsayer survivalist. Inflation is unlikely let alone hyperinflation. After all what most would argue is that deflation is the more likely candidate to run The United States of Ruin as the alternative is pure ridiculous. I am not an economist, I am though an avid, and I must say an astute student of history; and what history has taught me in the over 5000 years of human economic activity is this: Hyperinflation and inflation are and can be mutually exclusive.

What do I mean by that? Well in both cases of inflation and hyperinflation the currency losses it's buying power. I'll put it to you this way; inflation is when an economy overheats, it's a demand driven phenomena in which a nations consumables (goods& services) are in great demand due to overabundance of credit that it drives the cost of the consumables to skyrocket causing goods and services producers to raise prices in order to keep up.

Hyperinflation is not like that. It is the total and complete loss of faith and buying power of a currency. Prices rise not because someone wants to be paid more for  goods or services that they provide, or more money for their labor or commodity, prices rise because they want to get out of the currency, they do not want it any longer,  they want less of it and are willing to pay a healthy some for any hedge against it.

Lets face the facts here. This government's debt is 100% of GDP and the bloodletting has no end in sight. With a yearly fiscal budget shortfall of about 10% the Fed is purchasing TREASURIES in order to cover the shortfall on the government balance sheet. Thus they are fulfilling two objectives; one, help the government maintain aggregate supply levels (price of goods and services) and two, support asset prices in order to prevent any further deflationary erosion ( Like Real Estate). So in the Feds calculations if you stabilize aggregate supply levels and prevent erosion of assets values you in turn would create an economic recovery, right?! WRONG!!!

Now follow closely to what I am about to say. We have never recovered from the September 2008 crash. All this talk about a “double dip” is a moot point as we never clawed our way from the first dip. The economy is as it has been for the last two years; heading down, no matter what all the talking heads on radio and TV say. For you see in trying to perform the same techniques which were applied with the crash of 1929 and 1933; the Fed has exhausted its cache of stimulus tools. They have done nothing and they have nothing left. After pumping trillions into stimulus plans, and trillions to improve balance sheets of the “Too Big to Fail” banks they have accomplished one thing; they have UNDERMINED TREASURIES!!!

Treasuries are the very threads that is holding this economy together and now these policies have metamorphosed them into the NEW AND IMPROVED TOXIC ASSET!!! Every world economy knows that they are overvalued, they know that their yields are mediocre and still no one in the main stream talking head shows ever rails against or even exposes them. The whole world cart blanche walks on eggshells around treasuries as if it were a Financial Nuke with a trip wire trigger and a timer. A bomb if you will....which IT IS.

History shows us a pattern when and how this financial Hiroshima goes off. It begins like this:
There will be a slight and sudden rise in a price of a necessary commodity like Oil
This will send tremors through the treasury yields, Treasury Mangers will sell off their allocations and go into the commodity (e.g. Oil) in order to grab a profit. I guarantee that they will sell treasuries as it's the primary asset that many of them can sell.

This will trigger the Fed to step in and buy the dumped Treasuries as they are trying to stave off deflation by keeping low yields and cheaply funded. (Quantitative Easing) The Fed knows that the Bond Market senses a “Treasury Bubble” and once again they turn on the printing press to buy every treasury in sight to calm the markets and create asset price stability.

The Zombie “Too Big to Fail” Banksters smell blood in the water and begin to dump their obscene amount of treasury notes. You see these living dead institutions were never nationalized but got the best parts of nationalization; total liquidity (stimulus money) and easing of accounting and regulatory rules. The flip side was the Fed required that they purchase US treasuries. You see buying up of the treasuries allowed their balance sheets to look well funded and monetized, all the while hiding the toxic assets that were being siphoned off their books by the Fed since 2008.

The Panic sets in...Asset managers are not stupid they know the US is in much worse shape than Greece. They know that there is a “Treasury Bubble”. So when these mangers see the mass buying of treasuries by the Fed, and the mass dumping by the Zombie Banks, it will be their signal to get out of Dodge!!!
The Zombie To Big To Fails and Asset Managers that have dumped their toxic treasuries will look for a place to park their new found cash. Now where might you think they can put all that new cash into? COMMODITIES. Commodities of all types will shoot to the moon. From precious and industrial metals, Oil, food staples will all skyrocket in price, catching the American public with their pants down. Commodities will be the only safe haven to go to and this is when the American public will get it's first taste of hyperinflation and it will taste like gasoline when the price of oil surges passed $150 a barrel in one week equating to $10 a gallon gas!!!

Commodities SOARS and DOLLAR COLLAPSE ensues. The sell off of assets in purchase of commodities will be ballistic. People will unload homes, cars, personal belongings all once thought important for real assets like Gold, Silver, Food, Weapons, and Oil. In hyperinflation your $400,000 house will be worth $60,000 or 70 pieces of silver, for your house will not be able to help you buy things you need, while a commodity like gold and silver can.
Most of all the government can't stop it.

II. Currency Wars

Another front is brewing in this mass pandemonium that is hurling toward us in thunderous fashion. That is the currency war that is beginning to heat up. You see during the 90's America went through it's dot com boom primarily off the money that it borrowed from the Chinese and other foreign investors. So when the dot coms became the dot bombs, and when that bubble Burst the banksters at wall street and the financial mafia running the Fed needed fresh meat. After all the Chinese will be not so willing to throw their money into another tech stock venture with the US. at that time Alan Greenspan cut interest rates down to an unheard of 1% and eased bank lending. Thus in turn creating the housing bubble that was one sub-prime needle away from being popped. Now while all this was transpiring many political hacks and think tanks in the"District of Criminals" were beginning to complain that the Chinese were not allowing their currency the Yuan to float, that the Chicoms were artificially keeping it's value low. In turn creating a very large trade surplus for them, and a large trade deficit for us.

If you have been following the news lately, you would have been hearing the vast levels of complaining within the Anglo-American financial houses, the vast monetary disparity with the Chinese Yuan and even the Euro.  In fact it is my opinion that this  summers Euro collapse was a orchestrated act of financial warfare perpetrated by the British and American banking interests. That I will leave for another time. It is comedic that many in positions of power feel that it is the Chinese that is to blame for the economic dearth that we are facing. Now the madmen are sensing that the Wall street Casino may be closing, and in a last ditch play to make profits, and grab power. The overlords at the Fed and the Banksters on Wallstreet are in a race to the bottom. Devaluing the dollar as some sick way of kick starting the make believe economy. Hoping that a devalued dollar will make us more competitive in trade.

One thing that I will tell you is that in a currency war no one Is a winner. Von Mises the famous Austrian economist that invented the Austrian school of economics said it best when he said that the way to destroy your middle class is to devalue your currency.

Back prior to 1913 and the creation of the creature that we now know as the Federal Reserve, a country's currency was essentially it's stock. A nation that produced, and sold it's good and wares had a very strong currency affording it's citizens a very good quality of life. Gold was the anchor that tied the majority of nations currencies back then, preventing the creation of economic bubbles, guaranteeing the stability of sound economic policies and power of wealth  in the hands of the citizen.

Today money printed out of thin air and backed up by nothing is the order of the day. As we traverse into the current state of affairs, history has once again proven that fiat (by edict) currencies and central banks are failures. By engaging the Chinese, Japanese and Europeans in a currency war, a race to the bottom will do nothing but destroy us and what is left of our middle class. By trying to hit cheap Chinese goods with a tariff will incense the Chinese even more. This is not something that you want to do, especially since they are still the largest holders of your debt.

Giving Americans And Muslims Reasons To Fight: 9/11, Al-Qaeda, Drones, And Counterinsurgency

 Guest
"Americans (especially media figures) have been so inculcated with a childish morality narrative which is pleasing and self-affirming to believe — The Terrorists attack us because they are bad and we are good — that it’s just inconceivable that it is actually the U.S. itself which is enabling these plots and has long been galvanizing the very anti-American animus that fuels them." - Glenn Greenwald, "Al Qaeda’s best friend," Salon, June 14, 2012.

"Fortunately, caring about international opinion — like so many other things — is so very 2004, especially in Democratic Party circles (notwithstanding the fact that, as that Rumsfeld-era report documented, anti-American animus arising from American aggression is the greatest security threat and the prime source of Terrorism). Who cares if virtually the entire world views Obama’s drone attacks as unjustified and wrong? Who cares if the Muslim world continues to seethe with anti-American animus as a result of this aggression? Empires do what they want. Despite all this, these polling data will undoubtedly prompt that age-old American question: why do they hate us?" - Glenn Greenwald, "U.S. drones deeply unpopular around the world," Salon, June 13, 2012.

"It isn’t those of us who oppose American aggression in the Muslim world who need manipulative, exploitative reminders about 9/11; it’s those who cheer for these policies who are making a follow-up attack ever more likely." - Glenn Greenwald, "What might cause another 9/11?" Salon, June 12, 2012.
There is a common link between the false flag 9/11 events, using drones against innocent civilians in Muslim countries, applying the doctrine of counterinsurgency in Iraq and Afghanistan, and drumming up fear of the mythical Al-Qaeda organization. The link is clear: 9/11, Al-Qaeda, drones, and counterinsurgency all give Americans and Muslims reasons to fight each other.

The Globalists and Zionists who control the U.S. government want America to be absolutely hated by the Muslim world. If not for this motive, the war on terror would be meaningless and U.S. foreign policy would be totally counter-productive and absurd. But if you understand the real goals and motives, U.S. policy towards the Middle East is neither counter-productive nor absurd.

A lot of people are wondering, why is America hurting itself by pissing off every Muslim country? Why is it killing women and children with drones? Why is it accusing every young Muslim male of being a terrorist and driving them into the hands of Islamic extremists? Why is it alienating the Muslim world if the supposed aim of the war on terror is to destroy the roots of terrorism and make the people of Islam love America instead of hate it? And why is America waging war against Iran when its interests, reputation, and security would be better served if it normalized relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran?

The answer is simple: American leaders want to fight a war against Islam, and they could care less about the economic, military, and political consequences to the United States of America. U.S. and Israeli elites do not seek love, friendship, respect, and peace in the Middle East. World War III is what they want.

The point of the war on terror is to bankrupt the United States government, as this would empower the international banksters even more.

II. Washington's Covert Creation of Militant Islamist Regimes

Washington's stubborn and hubristic policies are incurring the wrath of of Iran and Pakistan, two of the most populous Muslim countries. In the past year, the Obama administration has painted Pakistan as a terrorist state that harbored Osama Bin Laden, but so far it has not provided any evidence whatsoever that Bin Laden was actually in a Pakistani military compound in Abbottabad.

Washington's fairytale-ending of the Bin Laden legend was written so as to turn Pakistan into the next villain in the war on terror, but nobody besides brainwashed children believe there is any truth to this insane plot twist.

Destabilizing Pakistan and transforming it into an anti-American and militant Islamist country is the main goal of U.S. policy. America's globalist leaders practiced the same policy against Iran in the late 1970s. After using psychological warfare against Iran to bring down the nationalist Shah, who was becoming less controllable from Washington's perspective, the U.S. backed Islamic fundamentalists to hijack Iran and impose an Islamist dictatorship on the Iranian people.

The Luciferian rulers of America and Iran are enemies only in the public imagination. Behind the scenes, they are following a covert and esoteric agenda.

The big secret that the Islamic Republic of Iran wishes to hide from the world is its CIA and MI6 origins. There is so much evidence of the secret connection between fundamentalist Islamists and Western intelligence agencies that is being covered up by the world media.

The Islamic Republic of Iran was created to be destroyed in a third world war. But that doesn't mean that it will go down without a fight or that America has nothing to fear from Iran if it attacks it. But since U.S., Iranian, and Israeli elites don't have any fear of catastrophic destruction and massive loss of life, they don't care how hellish the war gets. The occult obsessed leaders of America, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Israel want all three nations to mutually destroy each other.

The outcome of World War III is that every nation involved will lose. America and Israel have nukes, but Iran has major public support on its side, so neither side has a competitive advantage over the other. But it is still a war between a superpower against an underdog.

A hated superpower is even more dangerous and deadly since it has nothing to lose. So it is expected and welcomed that public opinion against America in the Muslim world will get even lower once America and Israel bomb Iran. Hate is great according to Washington and Tel Aviv. Alienating Islam from America and the West is their objective.

Giving people in America and the Muslim world reasons to hate and fight each other is the military-industrial complex's main task. The roles of the CIA and FBI as secret police forces inside the United States can only be justified in the American psyche if there is a widespread public belief that America is under attack from external enemies. The false flag 9/11 events were crucial in instilling this collective belief in the American people.

Whenever there is any criticism of U.S. foreign policy, 9/11 is brought up. This tactic is part of a larger psychological warfare campaign against the American people and the people of the West. It is a fact of life that America, the West, and much of the world has been systematically brainwashed by the CIA, Mossad, MI6, and Western media into believing that the official version of the 9/11 events is true.

Washington will continue to use media brainwashing and state terrorism well into the future because the U.S. establishment want Americans to remain slave-like and fearful. A second 9/11 hasn't happened yet, thankfully, but don't think for a minute that the CIA and Mossad have given up on false flag terrorism. It is their ace in the hole. Without it, they are powerless.

The next 9/11 will be a nuclear 9/11, and the CIA and Mossad will be behind it. A former U.S. official has even suggested that the Obama presidency can be saved with a new 9/11. This is certainly true, since the war-hungry right and Obama's brainwashed followers will both be on the same page in the aftermath of another catastrophic terrorist event in the United States.

The day after a second 9/11, the anti-dissent talking points will be brought out again and used daily by the press and their brainwashed slaves. Those talking points are: Shut up, traitor! Shut up, terrorist sympathizer! Shut up, conspiracy theorist! Shut up, nutcase!

What must be our response in the face of state terror and new attacks on the freedom of thought and speech? We must answer the state terrorists, media propagandists, and their brainwashed victims with reason, patience, truth, understanding, peace, and love. Also, a little anger wouldn't hurt. Snapping people out of a state-induced sleep takes some screaming.
