Election Day 2010 and Thoughts of America's Future

By NewAmericaNow

Election day is right around the corner. So what can we expect? Well, we can probably expect that Republicans will be elected in droves. Many who voted for Obama and the Democrats in hopes for change, got change, but not exactly what they had hoped for. Many disillusioned voters I have spoken with just hope to slow down the damage any one party can effect by causing gridlock in Washington. It is very sad to think that is all we can hope for.

So does any one party have the answers? Do the Republicans have an answer to what is ailing America? If the previous Bush administration is any indication, the answer is a resounding "NO".

What about the TEA party candidates? What a damn shame! It seems that the "infiltration" of a truly grassroots movement for smaller and more constitutional government is complete with all the usual Republican party leadership faces taking it over, also a big "NO" simply because we cannot expect a difference if the players remain the same. Sarah Palin was the Republican party choice for Vice President, as scary as that seems.

Let me get this straight... the Democrats, who brought us out of control spending, increased debt, more power to the unconstitutional and illegal Federal Reserve, major legislation without reading it ("you'll have to pass it to find out what's in it" - Nancy Pelosi).... and the Republicans who gave us major lies in order to get us into illegal and immoral wars, who pushed the Patriot Act that brought us the "Police State" we have today, and allowed Corporate and Banking interests to superced the interests of the public...are the only two visible choices we have on this, our Election Day?!!!What a travesty of American freedom and justice.

Both our political parties... have bailed out banks and corporations, allowed the Corporations and Banks to write the legislation and in so doing, destroy the competition but give themselves all the legal advantage, legally privitized gains and socialized losses on a massive scale and continue to provide the American people and small to Medium sized Businesses with more and more regulation and less and less options, in a once free and vibrant society of choices. Who the hell are we kidding here!! The same players will inevitably always bring the same results. Things will not change until we damand forcefully that they change.

My fellow Americans, the biggest terrorists in the world are waging a war on us, the American people, and that includes our Men and Women in Uniform that proudly serve and risk their lives every day for a pack of lies and the false wave of a flag. The Flag means nothing without honor, principal and honesty.

We, the American people, were told in 2008 that there was an "electronic run on the banks" and the sky would fall if we did nothing. How can you expect truth when all you get are lies?

I'm sure that the Federal Reserve knew who it was that was drawing billions from the banks, but who was responsible? the Russians? the Chinese? Al Qaeda? the Taliban? the Boogie Man? or maybe the Federal Reserve itself.

Our corrupt leaders used this so called "Crisis" to siphon hundreds of Billions if not Trillions of taxpayer $$dollars$$ through both the Republican and Democratic administrations. Why would the American people expect these corrupt parties to fix anything at all??

Whichever party wins the election, they will try to implement the final "Austerity" nail in the American Coffin. They will continue to call for the bailout of Banks and Corportions, although, assistance to the American people will come to a sudden end. Unemployment, food stamps, Social Security, healthcare and social services will all be cut drastically. Unemployment will skyrocket, as will Inflation, taxes will increase at every level of government and Austerity will begin in earnest. Although the police state will continue to be reinforced in order to keep the disgruntled American in line and because of the removal of Posse Comitatus, martial law is very likely in our future.

The Federal Reserve will say they need more power, they will continue to debase our currency whether we like it or not. The Fed will then announce that a global central bank will be needed or the sky will again fall. A ploy of course, constructed to undermine the very sovereignty of the greatest nation and beacon of the light of freedom on the planet.

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."

Thomas Jefferson, (Attributed)
3rd president of US (1743 - 1826)

Our only hope lies with the American people. When the going gets tough, will we, as Americans get going. Time will tell. I for one will not send my sons to any war I am not prepared to fight myself.

On this Election Day 2010 do not vote for personalities, slogans, promises or parties, vote for people who you respect and who's actions speak louder than words. Vote for people that will be the best choice for you regardless of whether they have a chance at winning.

I hope and pray that there is a peaceful revolution that brings us a transformed, more responsive and more representative government based on fairness and justice for all, but I also mentally prepare for the day that I may have to make very difficult choices in the defense of, the ideals of American freedom, which I live by, my children that I gaze upon and look to me for guidance and the God that I serve and will hold me accountable for my choices in life.

"These are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their county; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny like hell is not easily conquered yet we have this consolation with us, the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly; it is dearness only that gives everything its value. If there must be trouble, let it be in my day, that my child may have peace."
-- Tom Paine, 1776
